Nove Pittori, una finestra sul secondo novecento
Nine artists who represent pictorial art of the second half of the last century are exhibited from 18th of December until 31st of January at the convent del Carmine di Modica, in Piazza Matteotti.
Artists include: Davide Benati, Attilio Forgioli, Alberto Gianquinto, Piero Guccione, Frances Lansing, Titina Maselli, Franco Sarnari, Ruggero Savinio e Claudio Verna.
Curators: Paolo Nifosì, Tonino Cannata (Catalogo Salarchi Immagini, texts by Paolo Nifosì e Giuseppe Frazzetto).
Works exhibited are all properties of Sicilian Collectors in Ibla.

Table Crete Senesi
A small bronze table dedicated to a new archeological site in the Crete Senese, just outside San Giovanni d’Asso tells its own story about what is going on underground. Above ground a tree housing beneath her a family of foxes.

Collect photography is to collect the world
Artistocratic, the online gallery of fine art photography, in collaboration with Alinari 24 Ore, announces its first edition of the Affordable Art Fair Rome – 26 to 28 October 2012 at the Macro Testaccio The Pelanda. This takes place during the International Festival of Photography in Rome, an exhibition whose protagonists include five names of Italian and international photography, including, Frances Lansing.
A careful selection of works that provide a sense of the multifaceted world of contemporary photography. A collection that tells the real and imaginary in all its dimensions through looks and attitudes.
Artistocratic Affordable Art Fair will take place in Rome, at the Macro Testaccio – The Pelanda, one of the most important buildings in the city’s industrial modernity and originality of its facilities. The art event, traveling from New York to Rome, has the aim of promoting contemporary art in an unconventional way, involving a wide audience and encouraging new collectors.
